The Hearts Behind the Mission
Maurice and Erica White, along with their sons Benaiah and Micaiah, are ordained ministers and full-time missionaries to Kenya, Africa. Called to reach the unreached, they are bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to East Africa through evangelism, church planting, and Bible training.
From Calling to Movement
From a young age, it was prophesied that Maurice White would step into full-time missions with Firewind Ministries. He began traveling to East Africa at just 4 years old, ministering alongside his grandparents, Mike and Marigold Cheshier, throughout his childhood.
Years later, Maurice and Erica both responded to the call of God on their lives - to reach those who have never heard the name of Jesus. They were married in 2014 while attending Bible school. Maurice graduated from Rhema Bible Training College and later earned his Master's degree from Trinity Bible College, while Erica graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
In 2021, they welcomed their son Benaiah, and in 2024, their son Micaiah. Now, as they raise their boys in the bush of Kenya, they continue to faithfully live out the call of God on their lives.
For nearly a decade, they have been in full-time ministry, witnessing the faithfulness of God through salvations, miracles, and infillings of the Holy Spirit.
What began as a calling is now being lived out as we serve, reaching the unreached, raising up leaders, and seeing lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

OUR VALUES
FireWind Ministries is aligned with the beliefs and core doctrines of the Assemblies of God. We are committed to the authority of Scripture, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the call to take the Gospel to all the nations.
We believe in salvation through Jesus Christ, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, divine healing, and the ongoing work of God in and through His church today.
